Felix Abba – developing people and creating additional value
The year of 2010 was good for Felix Abba. Despite the recession, our turnover reached almost the same annual level as the year before and we succeeded in maintaining a good profitability level.
Felix Abba’s goal is to provide food delights for consumers by offering well-known, pure and delicious food products. Felix Abba’s successful and long-span strategy is built on the following cornerstones. Felix Abba offers consumers a wide range of attractive products with well-known brands. These products have a strong position in their own product segments. In addition, Felix Abba has always produced additional value to its partners by continuously developing cooperation with its customers. A most considerable aspect in the success of Felix Abba is also the skilled and competent employees. At the end of the year Felix Abba employed 165 people.
For Felix Abba responsibility means responsible operations along the whole food chain. This means responsibility for people, the environment, procurements and products. Ensuring responsibility along the whole food product chain is an essential part of our management and quality systems. Our own responsibility we develop especially by means of ensuring well-being of our employees and the environment. We want to offer the consumer pure and safe products. The high quality of our products is based on our employees’ professional skills, first-rate raw materials and our comprehensive product safety system.
The carrying principle of responsible operations is continuous improvement. We follow up our achievements and report about them to our employees, customers, owners and other interest groups. The follow-up is based on indicators in line with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines. We use indicators to predict the future as well as indicators to reflect on the past.
